I was introduced to Academy Financial Benefit Services through my work with The Carson Scholars Fund, and Mike Ward-- one of the fund’s Board Members. Being that Mike is also a founding partner of AFBS, it seemed appropriate to explore the possibility of utilizing his firm for my organization’s benefit needs. In the beginning I was a bit skeptical of using a broker to facilitate the process, as we are a small charity, yet I quickly realized that the size of your group didn’t matter to AFBS.
